[poll] Buy an NC10 Special Edition or a N110

A friend is going to get a Sammy and he has asked which one to buy - he doesn't care about the multitouch feature of the touchpad so I said he should either get the NC10 SE or the N110. I keep the regular NC10 in the poll just in case

So which one would you recommend?
    The regular NC10?
    The Special Edition
    or
    the N110

Thanks Freddy! I was just thinking about this myself. (though I think part of it is being impatient - I can have an NC10 SE NOW)

I hate it when manufacturers do this - release a shed load of models with similar specs ~

Up until recently I would have said the NC10 SE - especially given the free PCI slot (with power?). I'm not sure about the difference between the NC10 SE and the N110 - anybody fancy drawing up a comparison chart :?

@TCMuffin: Well - the NC10 SE and the N110 seems to be 95% the same, the N110 has a glossy screen but the NC10 SE does not (If I'm correctly informed). But the N110 is supposed to have some anti-glare so even if it is glossy - using it outdoors shouldn't be a problem.

But they look different. So the question then is - which one is the better looking of the two?

    Edit: Post no. 500. Gosh!

Yep, they've gone and done an Asus. Who can blame them, it's the first time they've made any inroads into the laptop market really, they're taking full advantage of the NC10's success.

I personally think the N110 is slightly better looking, but I like rounded corners. Otherwise, there's no big diff and the NC10 has always looked good, in my opinion. especially the darker ones.

The glossy screen thing doesn't bother me much for outside viewing, but I am starting to wonder if glossy screens give you headaches faster...

I am pretty sure the N110 is an SE w/ a new shell and a glossy screen. I'd go with the SE. I have a glossy screen Dell Inspiron and the screen annoys the heck out of me in anything but a dark environment.
